The pictures below are graphic and show just how real the situations these dogs deal with. Conner for whatever reason was living a life of neglect at the end of a chain. We'll never understand why anyone would want a dog if they simply wanted to put him or her out in the yard.

Meet Conner, another one time 'lost soul' who was living a life of neglect on the end of a chain. At least that was until he wound up in the rural Georgia shelter. Once we heard of his condition we simply had to react, his gentle nature was a real indicator of just how loving this boy is - especially considering the painful condition he was in.

Please, if you decide to have a dog in your home, provide the basic needs for the animal. Nails need to be trimmed, it's a very easy thing to do. It doesn't require years of study, just a good quality pair of clippers and a little time. If you don't know how to take care of the basic grooming needs for your dog(s) there are numerous shops in every town and city that can do this for you at minimal cost.
